The tip of the headstock has a chip (see pic 7). It has some dings and scratches (see pics for condition) but for 30 years old its pretty damn clean.

Everything seems to be original except the Hardshell Case. There are NO FINISH CRACKS at the neck pocket which is unusual(but very good), for a 30 year old Guitar. All electronics work like they should, the neck is straight with very little fret wear. The Volume knob is a push/pull coil splitting the MMK45 Humbucker in the bridge position. The Guitar is Vintage dating back to 1984 and is in superb condition considering its 38 years. The guitar was made at the very well respected Matsumoku guitar factory in Japan. It sold for around 1,100 in 1987 which is about 2,700 in today's money. This is probably the nicest guitar I've ever owned and I've owned a lot.
